Do you have a vision for your life? Your business? Keeping that vision in mind, you might be asking: “Now what? What’s next?” It can be difficult to feel so passionate about something, and yet be so helpless to know where to go to make your vision a reality. Perhaps you have reached a certain point in your life and you just feel a little stuck. Maybe you need a guide—someone there to give you the steps and systems you need to make your dreams possible.

Enter Marina Darlow. Marina has made it her mission to help heart-centered businesses and entrepreneurs take their vision for their business and turn it into a reality. Marina is a systems specialist, and her unique insights and wisdoms might be just what you need to jumpstart your business. Listen as she and Aurora discuss how vision and reality can collide to create something truly beautiful!

Do you feel like you just don’t quite fit the mold? Can you identify with many different groups, depending on the situation? How can you embrace your intensity if you are intense in many ways? What happens when the world doesn’t have a group, a school, or a system that works for you? Jade Rivera, this week’s guest on “Embracing Intensity,” has a solution: just make your own!

Jade is an educator, writer, and speaker with a mission to rewrite our ideas of schooling gifted and twice exceptional children. She knows what it means to live and embrace multiple intensities, multiple identities, and multiple exceptionalities. Jade now uses these experiences to fuel her love for educating Gifted and Twice Exceptional students through micro-schools. Listen as she and Aurora discuss what it means to live fully within the identity of an Intense Woman, and how you can too!

You don't want to miss this episode. It's packed with great advice and insights!

Also in this week’s episode:

For the intense woman, life’s unexpected heartbreaks, tragedies, and traumas can feel like the end of the world. When life takes a detour, it is difficult to bounce back, especially when it feels like everything around you has come crumbling down. How do we deal with these roadblocks? Is it possible to ever fully recover from trauma?

If you are a trauma survivor, (or just a human in general) then this week’s guest has a message that will get right the heart of the matter. Amy Oestreicher is a survivor: a survivor of sexual assault, a survivor of a disease that left her without a stomach, and a survivor in life. Using the power of creativity and gratitude, Amy has come back from the brink of death with a love of life that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. In this week’s episode of “Embracing Intensity,” Amy describes her road to recovery, and how she learned to embrace life’s detours and find what it means to be herself. Be inspired this week and take a dive into a story of human resilience!

Also in this week’s episode:

  • Amy shares how her love of musical theater, fine art, and writing have shaped her recovery process.
  • Hear the story of Amy’s biggest detour, losing her stomach.
  • Learn how the story of recovery is universal.
  • Healthy coping tools for trauma survivors
  • Using creativity to put in the hard work of recovery
  • Practicing gratitude and transforming your outlook on life.
  • Hear how Amy’s family and intense childhood gave her the tools she needed to overcome adversity.
  • The ways Amy “gets out of her head,” and embraces her own intensity.
